EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS

Vintage Car and Harley Show
Reminisce the past by checking out the cars you once owned or dreamed of owning. Put on by the Model A club of Albany, Obsolete Fleet Chevy Club of Salem, Willamette Historic Auto Club of Salem, Pioneer Hogs of Albany and Larry Fast and his Classic Bicycles of Salem.

Quick Draw
Artists from all around the area will be throughout the park producing art with a covered bridge theme. These artists may draw, paint, or even sculpt in any medium they choose, but each work will prominently display a covered bridge, in honor of the festival. Artists begin Saturday, September 15th 2007 at 11:00 am. These pieces of art will be auctioned off during the Art and Coin Auction on Saturday, September 15th at 4:00 pm. Festival Grounds Train and Pony Rides
Grab your family and hop on board the Covered Bridge Express. Take a tour of the festival grounds to get an overview of all the fun things to do. Let the kids take a ride on a pony in the childrens area. If you would like a longer ride check J&D Minature Horse and Buggy Rides around Stayton.

LIVING HISTORY and DEMONSTRATORS
"Native American Display and Demonstrations"
The Chemewa Indian School Performing Arts Club, directed by Warner Austin will be on hand at the festival perfrorming with music and dance. They will be both on the Main Stage on Saturday and throughout both days in their demonstration teepee.
"Civil War Re-Enactors"
Don Ayes and Harold Slavik of Stayton

Civil War re-enactors will have campsites (both civilian and military) set up true to the days of the Civil War. Dressed in uniforms of both the North and South, they will be available to answer questions, tell stories, display artillery, and more. This is a must see!
"Blacksmith Demonstrations"

Art & Coin Auction
Starting at 4:00 pm on Saturday, September 15th, OCBF will have art from the Quick Draw and a limited number of collectors' silver coins available for auction. Procedes from this event will go to support the Oregon Covered Bridge Festival, and ultimately, the bridges we love!
Covered Bridge Postal Cancellation Stamp
Postal Cancellation Stamp by the Stayton Postmaster will be Saturday, September 15, 2007, between 11:00am and 1:00pm. This years Cancellation Stamp was designed by 12 year old Caleb Taylor or Scio, Oregon.
Bridge on the Bridge
Do you enjoy a good game of Bridge or Pinochle come and join us on the Stayton-Jordan Covered Bridge on the festival grounds from 1 pm to 4 pm. $10 per ticket.
